Neiles Boynton Billany

Neiles was born in early May 1826 in Hull, Yorkshire, England to George Billany and Sarah Graveline. He was baptised on 16 May 1826 in the parish church of Holy Trinity, Hull, Yorkshire, England.

At the time of the 1841 Census of England and Wales, Neiles was living in St. Marks Square, St. James Street in the home of Ann Marshall, a 55 year old Spinster. His younger brother George was also residing at the address.

Neiles married Charlotte Ann Morfitt Cleveland on the 5th May 1846 in the parish church of Holy Trinity, Hull, Yorkshire, England. By this time Neiles was a Shipwright. His father, [George Billany (1778-????) | George Billany]] was a Mariner. At the time of the marriage he was residing at 15, Staniforth Place, Hessle Road, Hull, Yorkshire, England.

By 1865 Neiles was living at 3, Botanic Terrace, Staniforth Place, Hessle Road, Hull, Yorkshire, England where he remained until the late 1870's when he moved to 5, St. Quintin's Place, Church Street, Drypool, Sculcoates, Hull, Yorkshire, England, by this time he was no longer a shipwright but a Ship Carpenter.

By the 23rd August 1883 we find Neiles had been admitted to one of the East Riding's Mental Asylums.

By 1891 he had moved again, back to the Hessle Road area and was residing at 97 Hessle Road, which at the time of this entry is under the main office block of Smith & Nephew.

By the time of his death in 1896 he had relocated to Havelock Street on Hessle Road, Hull, Yorkshire, England.
